In Wednesday's league outing, the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), by a margin of 38-37.

The Mustangs (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Vikings go into the East Valley outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Monroe was tipped by Grant (Van Nuys, CA), 89-14, in a league outing.

The Dons now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they host North Hollywood for a East Valley outing on Monday, January 23. Verdugo Hills will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 78-42 league loss to Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 14-10.
