California High School Basketball - St. Joseph Notre Dame knocked off by Berkeley
January 18, 2023: Alameda, CA 94501 The Berkeley Yellowjackets basketball team scored 58 points and held the host St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots to 49 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont for a West Alameda County - Foothill contest on Friday, January 20. Berkeley will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 69-49 league loss to Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-5.
The Pilots (5-10) will now prepare for their bout against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Trojans go into the West Alameda County - Foothill bout with a 7-11 record. In their last bout, Castro Valley was knocked off by Alameda (Alameda, CA), 80-72, in a league bout.
