Florida High School Basketball - East Lee County can't hold off Island Coast
January 18, 2023: Cape Coral, FL 33909 The Island Coast Gators basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting East Lee County Jaguars to 43 in the Gators non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Gators now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gateway for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. Island Coast will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-21 non-league win over Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
The Jaguars (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lehigh (Lehigh Acres, FL). The Lightning come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Lehigh edged Gateway (Fort Myers, FL), 32-31, in a non-league contest.
