In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans basketball team scored a tight 47-46 triumph over the Clinton Maroons.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 21. Maroa-Forsyth will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 15-6 record after their 66-55 non-league win over St. Teresa (Decatur, IL).
