Missouri High School Basketball - Lee's Summit North nudges Shawnee Mission East
January 18, 2023: Lee's Summit, MO 64086 Lee's Summit North Broncos (Lee's Summit, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS), 59-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lee's Summit North upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Broncos travel to Park Hill (Kansas City, MO) to clash with the Trojans in a Suburban - Gold bout on Monday, January 23. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Park Hill lost 31-29 in their recent non-league bout against St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO)
Next up, the Lancers clash with the Derby Panthers (Derby, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Shawnee Mission East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 57-23 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS).
