Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA) and the visiting North Penn-Liberty Mountie (Liberty, PA), saw Towanda's basketball squad overcome North Penn-Liberty by a tally of 44-29.

With the victory, Towanda improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Black Knights host North Penn-Mansfield (Mansfield, PA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. North Penn-Mansfield won 41-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA)
