The Gulf Buccaneers basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Sunlake Seahawks to 41 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pasco for a contest on Friday, January 20. Gulf will battle a Pirates team coming off a 64-27 non-league loss to South Lake (Groveland, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 0-13.

The Seahawks (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Coyotes come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Cypress Creek was nudged by Gulf (New Port Richey, FL), 49-32, in a non-league contest.
