January 18, 2024: Jonestown, PA 17038 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Calvary Chapel Christian Lions (Brownsville, PA) and the host Blue Mountain Christian Defenders (Jonestown, PA), saw Calvary Chapel Christian's basketball squad wallop Blue Mountain Christian by a tally of 66-42.
With the victory, Calvary Chapel Christian improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Propel Andrew Street (Munhall, PA) to confront the Panthers in a Southwestern Pennsylvania challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.
Next up, the Defenders confront the Carlisle Christian Academy Knights (Carlisle, PA) in a Pennsylvania Christian challenge, on Monday, January 29. Blue Mountain Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
