Kansas High School Basketball - Olathe South nips Blue Valley Southwest
January 18, 2024: Overland Park, KS 66062 Olathe South Falcons (Olathe, KS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves (Overland Park, KS), 75-72 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Olathe South upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Junction City (Junction City, KS) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Junction City won 92-43 in their recent non-league bout against Sumner Academy (Kansas City, KS)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers (Gardner, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Blue Valley Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 0-0 non-league Junction City/St. Xavier (Junction City, KS).
