Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Martin Luther ripped by Springfield Township
January 18, 2024: Erdenheim, PA 19038 The Springfield Township Spartans basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Martin Luther Panthers to 41 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to William Tennent for a Suburban One - American contest on Tuesday, January 23. Springfield Township will meet a Panthers team coming off a 66-64 league loss to Abington (Abington, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.
The Panthers (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against MAST Charter II (Philadelphia, PA). The Voyagers enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, MAST Charter II triumphed over Parkway Center City (Philadelphia, PA), 63-53, in a league contest.
