January 18, 2024: Afton, OK 74331 The Afton Eagles (Afton, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats (Chouteau, OK), 50-36 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK). The Bears go into the Lucky Seven test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Wyandotte notched a victory over Hillcrest (Springfield, MO), 54-52, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Chouteau-Mazie will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 7-7.
