Georgia High School Basketball - Baldwin overwhelms Perry
January 18, 2024: Milledgeville, GA 31061 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Baldwin Braves (Milledgeville, GA) and the visiting Perry Panthers (Perry, GA), saw Baldwin's basketball squad wallop Perry by a tally of 74-23.
With the victory, Baldwin improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to confront the Golden Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Washington County lost 40-26 in their recent league challenge against Thomson (Thomson, GA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Westside Seminoles (Macon, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 test, on Friday, January 19. Perry will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Seminoles go into the test with a 8-11 record after their 52-46 non-league win over Northeast (Macon, GA).
