The Cactus Shadows Falcons basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Desert Mountain Wolves to 21 in the Falcons league victory on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chaparral for a 5A Northeast Valley contest on Monday, January 22. Cactus Shadows will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 57-37 league win over Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 1-11.

The Wolves (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Saints come into the 5A Northeast Valley contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Prep triumphed over Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ), 61-25, in a league contest.
