Ohio High School Basketball - East Canton tops Central Christian
January 18, 2024: Kidron, OH 44636 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the East Canton Hornets (East Canton, OH) and the host Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH), saw East Canton's basketball squad knock off Central Christian by a tally of 38-23.
With the victory, East Canton improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH) to play the Tigers in a Inter-Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Strasburg-Franklin won 49-13 in their recent league challenge against Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH)
Next up, the Comets play the Lucas Cubs (Lucas, OH) in a Mid-Buckeye challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Central Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 48-25 non-league loss to Galion (Galion, OH).
