Virginia High School Basketball - Chatham falls to Liberty

January 18, 2024: Bedford, VA 24523

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Liberty Minutemen basketball team scored a good 43-33 triumph over the Chatham Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Minutemen meet the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole match, on Tuesday, January 23. Liberty will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 7-7 record after their 44-38 league win over Rustburg (Rustburg, VA).

With the defeat, Chatham moves to 5-8 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Altavista (Altavista, VA) to meet the Colonels in a Dogwood match on Friday, January 19. The Colonels enter the match with a record of 3-9. Altavista lost 71-46 in their recent league match against Gretna (Gretna, VA)
