Michigan High School Basketball - Denby can't hold off Southeastern
January 18, 2024: Detroit, MI 48224 The Southeastern Jungaleers basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Denby Tars to 32 in the Jungaleers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Jungaleers now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mumford for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Southeastern will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 68-21 non-league win over King (Detroit, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-5.
The Tars (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cody (Detroit, MI). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Cody edged Central (Detroit, MI), 36-16, in a league contest.
