California High School Basketball - Port of Los Angeles overwhelmed by Hawthorne Math & Science Academy
January 18, 2024: Hawthorne, CA 90250 The Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears to 13 in the The Aviators non-league victory on Thursday.
The The Aviators now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Roads for a Coastal contest on Friday, January 19. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 55-13 league loss to California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-7.
The Polar Bears (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Lobos come into the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Rancho Dominguez was routed by Gardena (Gardena, CA), 41-3, in a league contest.
