The St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ), 64-11 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Purple Roses (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 13-0 record.

The Huskies now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Keyport for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Matawan Regional will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 58-21 league loss to Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 5-5.
