Illinois High School Basketball - Oswego East trounces Plainfield Central
January 18, 2024: Plainfield, IL 60544 The Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) basketball crushed the host Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 50-15 in Thursday's league test.
The Wolves (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Wheaton North was trounced by York (Elmhurst, IL), 27-25, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Plainfield North for a non-league test on Monday, January 22. Plainfield Central will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 51-14 non-league loss to Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
