January 18, 2024: Farmington, NM 87402 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) and the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), saw Piedra Vista's basketball squad wallop Aztec by a tally of 68-23.
With the victory, Piedra Vista improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Eldorado lost 62-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Aztec will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 48-31 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
