January 18, 2024: Pocomoke, MD 21851 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Washington Jaguars (Princess Anne, MD) and the host Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD), saw Washington's basketball squad overcome Pocomoke by a tally of 62-53.
With the victory, Washington improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Decatur (Berlin, MD) to confront the Seahawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Pocomoke will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA).
