With the victory, Spencer advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA) to meet the Braves in a Lakes battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Braves enter the battle with a record of 6-5.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clear Lake for a North Central battle on Monday, January 20. Algona will meet a Lions squad coming off a 84-47 league win over Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Lions record now stands at 12-0.
