New Jersey High School Basketball - Arts overwhelmed by Mt. Zion Prep Academy
January 18, 2025: Newark, NJ 07102 In Saturday's non-league test, the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) basketball squad trounced the host Arts Jaguars (Newark, NJ), by a score of 63-35.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 8. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will attempt to improve on its 16-1 season record.
The Jaguars (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Bishop McNamara bounced Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD), 75-65, in a league test.
