January 18, 2025: Bakersfield, MO 65609 The Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Bakersfield Lions to 38 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Marshfield for a Big 8 game on Tuesday, January 21. Springfield Catholic will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Thayer (Thayer, MO). The Bluejays record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Bakersfield falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Dora (Dora, MO) to confront the Falcons in a White River game on Tuesday, February 4. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 1-3.
