Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH), 60-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Northmont upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Centerville (Centerville, OH) to face the Elks in a Greater Western Ohio match on Tuesday, January 21. The Elks enter the match with a record of 7-6. Centerville lost 63-57 in their recent non-league match against Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH)

The Aviators now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a Miami Valley - Valley match on Tuesday, January 21. Butler will face a Trojans squad coming off a 51-35 non-league loss to Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 7-7.
