January 18, 2025: Colman, SD 57017 The Colman-Egan C-E Hawks basketball squad (Colman, SD), was nudged 48-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN)
With the victory, Hills-Beaver Creek advances its record to 11-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN) to meet the Eagles in a A Section 3 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 7-5.
The C-E Hawks now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCook Central/Montrose for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. Colman-Egan will meet a Fighting Cougars squad coming off a 52-47 non-league win over Sioux Valley (Volga, SD). The Fighting Cougars record now stands at 7-4.
