Ohio High School Basketball - New Knoxville toppled by Covington
January 18, 2025: Covington, OH 45318 Covington Buccs (Covington, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting New Knoxville Rangers (New Knoxville, OH), 62-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Covington upgrades its record to 4-10 on the year. The Buccs travel to Bethel (Tipp City, OH) to face the Bees in a Three Rivers match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bees enter the match with a record of 10-4. Bethel won 52-43 in their recent league match against Riverside (De Graff, OH)
The Rangers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Versailles for a Midwest match on Friday, January 24. New Knoxville will face a Tigers squad coming off a 49-29 non-league loss to Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 12-3.
