Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT), 76-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Fitch advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Falcons host St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT) to face the Saints in a Eastern Connecticut I match on Tuesday, January 21. The Saints enter the match with a record of 7-1.

The Cougars now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newtown for a Southwest match on Tuesday, January 21.
