Virginia High School Basketball - Steward knocks off Grace Christian School

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Grace Christian School Kings (Mechanicsville, VA), observed Steward's basketball team overcome Grace Christian School by a score of 65-57.

The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Dolphins come into the VISAA Division I challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Cape Henry Collegiate defeated Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA), 60-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Kings battle the Grove Christian School Falcons (Richmond, VA) in a VISAA Division IV challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Grace Christian School will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 86-63 league loss to The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA).
