New Jersey High School Basketball - Paulsboro can't hold off Highland Regional
January 18, 2025: Blackwood, NJ 08072 Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Paulsboro Red Raiders (Paulsboro, NJ), 49-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Highland Regional advances its record to 1-6 on the year. The Tartans host Delsea (Franklinville, NJ) to face the Crusaders in a Tri-County - Liberty match on Wednesday, January 22. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 4-4.
The Red Raiders now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haddonfield for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Paulsboro will face a Bulldawgs squad coming off a 54-36 non-league win over KIPP Cooper Norcross (Camden, NJ). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 9-2.
