January 18, 2025: La Grande, OR 97850 Redmond Panthers (Redmond, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host La Grande Tigers (La Grande, OR), 65-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Redmond upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Summit (Bend, OR) to face the Storm in a 5A Intermountain match on Wednesday, January 22. The Storm enter the match with a record of 9-6. Summit won 66-57 in their recent non-league match against Churchill (Eugene, OR)
The Tigers now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vale for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. La Grande will face a Vikings squad coming off a 62-42 league loss to Nyssa (Nyssa, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 5-8.
