The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC) and the host White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC), observed Laurens's basketball team edge White Knoll by a margin of 67-63.

The Raiders (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Chesnee edged Liberty (Liberty, SC), 72-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Monday, January 20. White Knoll will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 82-36 league loss to Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC).
