In Saturday's non-league test, the Lewiston Tigers (Lewiston, NE) basketball squad knocked off the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), by a score of 60-40.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 23. Lewiston will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 4-10 record after their 75-51 non-league loss to Sidney (Sidney, IA).
