In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Babcock Trailblazers basketball team scored a close 40-38 triumph over the Morningside Academy Eagles.

The Trailblazers (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against LaBelle (LaBelle, FL). The Cowboys/Cowgirls go into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, LaBelle nipped Oasis (Cape Coral, FL), 48-46, in a non-league contest.
