California High School Basketball - Maria Carrillo overwhelms Casa Grande
January 18, 2025: Santa Rosa, CA 95409 The Maria Carrillo Pumas basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Casa Grande Gauchos to 17 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pumas now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Rancho Cotate for a North Bay - Oak game on Tuesday, January 21. Maria Carrillo will play a Cougars team coming off a 49-40 league win over Windsor (Windsor, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-6.
With the loss, Casa Grande falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Gauchos host Vintage (Napa, CA) to play the Crushers in a Vine Valley game on Tuesday, January 21. The Crushers go into the game with a record of 7-11. Vintage lost 74-33 in their recent league game against American Canyon (American Canyon, CA)
