Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Downingtown West defeats Cedar Crest
January 18, 2025: Lebanon, PA 17042 The Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA) basketball were winner over the host Cedar Crest Falcons (Lebanon, PA), 40-31 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Whippets now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Downingtown East for a Ches-Mont - National bout on Tuesday, January 21. Downingtown West will play a Cougars team coming off a 56-34 league win over Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 15-1.
With the loss, Cedar Crest falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Manheim Central (Manheim, PA) to play the Barons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Barons go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Manheim Central lost 35-17 in their recent non-league bout against Lancaster Catholic (Lancaster, PA)
