North Carolina High School Basketball - Legion Collegiate Academy bests Queen's Grant

The Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC) basketball toppled the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 63-53 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lancers now possess a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Legacy Early College for a non-league bout on Sunday, January 19. Legion Collegiate Academy will play a Lions team coming off a 64-52 non-league win over Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Lions record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Queen's Grant falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Carolina International (Concord, NC) to play the Comets in a 1A Metro 8 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Carolina International lost 79-3 in their recent league bout against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC)
