January 18, 2025: Winnebago, NE 68071 Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, NE), 72-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sisseton advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Redmen host Webster (Webster, SD) to meet the Bearcats in a A Region 1 match on Thursday, January 23. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 5-5.
The Indians now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponca for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Winnebago will meet a Indians squad coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Boone Central (Albion, NE). The Indians record now stands at 7-8.
