Washington High School Basketball - Chelan thwarts Royal
January 18, 2025: Royal City, WA 99357 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA) and the host Royal Knights (Royal City, WA), observed Chelan's basketball team knock off Royal by a score of 50-40.
The Mountain Goats (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Brewster (Brewster, WA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Brewster dropped by Manson (Manson, WA), 43-37, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights encounter the Connell Eagles (Connell, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Royal will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
