Ohio High School Basketball - Springfield can't get by St. Xavier
January 18, 2025: Springfield, OH 45503 St. Xavier Bombers (Cincinnati, OH) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Springfield Wildcats (Springfield, OH), 36-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Xavier advances its record to 11-3 on the year. The Bombers host Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Knights enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centerville for a non-league match on Friday, January 24.
