In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) basketball squad beat the host Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA), by a count of 69-49.

The Panthers (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Northside (Columbus, GA). The Patriots go into the AAAAA Region 2 outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Northside was topped by Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA), 67-54, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Heritage moves to 3-10 on the year. The Hawks travel to Central Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Thursday, January 21. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 3-6. Central Christian won 90-56 in their recent non-league match against Oaks (Opelika, AL)
