The Mitchell Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Pine Bluffs Hornets to 55 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast for a non-league contest on Friday, January 22. Mitchell will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 53-47 league loss to Pine Bluffs (Pine Bluffs, WY). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-5.

The Hornets (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Niobrara County (Lusk, WY). The Tigers enter the 2A Southeast contest with a 4-4 record.
