New Jersey High School Basketball - Bogota knocked off by Saddle River Day
January 19, 2022: Saddle River, NJ 07458 The Saddle River Day Rebels basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Bogota Buccaneers to 47 in the Rebels league triumph on Wednesday.
The Rebels now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rutgers Prep for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 22. Saddle River Day will play a Argonauts squad coming off a 62-54 league win over Montgomery (Skillman, NJ). The Argonauts record now stands at 11-0.
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Hawthorne Christian Defenders (Hawthorne, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Patriot B bout, on Friday, January 21. Bogota will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Defenders come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 57-27 league loss to Emerson (Emerson, NJ).
