In Wednesday's league outing, the Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA) basketball squad edged the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), by a count of 58-52.

The Bulldogs (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Braves go into the Shasta Cascade outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Modoc was tipped by Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA), 60-55, in a league outing.

The Bears now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Weed for a Shasta Cascade outing on Friday, January 21. Mt. Shasta will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 47-38 league win over Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-2.
