Arizona High School Basketball - San Luis holds off Antelope
January 19, 2022: Wellton, AZ 85356 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the San Luis Sidewinders (San Luis, AZ) and the host Antelope Rams (Wellton, AZ), saw San Luis's basketball squad hold off Antelope by a tally of 48-41.
With the victory, San Luis improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Sidewinders travel to Kofa (Yuma, AZ) to confront the Kings in a 6A Desert Southwest challenge on Friday, January 21. The Kings come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Kofa lost 53-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ)
Next up, the Rams confront the Mohave Accelerated Patriots (Bullhead City, AZ) in a 1A West challenge, on Friday, January 21. Antelope will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 35-20 league loss to Bagdad (Bagdad, AZ).
