The Community Christian Cyclones basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Bethel Christian Academy Trojans to 50 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cyclones now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Bern Christian Academy for a North Carolina Christian - 2A South contest on Monday, January 23. Community Christian will battle a team coming off a 46-45 non-league loss to Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC). The record now stands at 12-5.
The Trojans (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Southside Christian (Clayton, NC). The Warriors enter the NCCSA AA East Region 3 contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Southside Christian was defeated by Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC), 58-51, in a league contest.
