The Irondale Knights basketball team (New Brighton, MN), was nudged 56-52 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN)

The Bison now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moorhead for a AAAA Section 8 battle on Saturday, January 21. Buffalo will confront a Spuds team coming off a 81-78 non-league win over Fargo North (Fargo, ND). The Spuds record now stands at 11-2.

The Knights (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Stillwater (Stillwater, MN). The Ponies come into the AAAA Section 4 battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Stillwater edged Roseville (Roseville, MN), 59-57, in a non-league battle.
