Florida High School Basketball - Oak Ridge tops Dr. Phillips
January 19, 2023: Orlando, FL 32809 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Oak Ridge Pioneers (Orlando, FL) and the visiting Dr. Phillips Panthers (Orlando, FL), saw Oak Ridge's basketball squad knock off Dr. Phillips by a count of 82-69.
With the victory, Oak Ridge upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. McEachern won 74-54 in their recent league challenge against North Paulding (Dallas, GA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders (Orlando, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Dr. Phillips will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 64-39 non-league loss to Providence School (Jacksonville, FL).
