The IMG Academy Blue Ascenders basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Sebring Blue Streaks to 58 in the Ascenders non-league victory on Thursday.

The Ascenders now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varsity Opponent for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. IMG Academy Blue will battle a team coming off a 49-39 league loss to Marine Military (Harlingen, TX). The record now stands at 277-846.

The Blue Streaks (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Avon Park (Avon Park, FL). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Avon Park edged Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL), 65-62, in a non-league contest.
