Kansas High School Basketball - Lawrence tops Topeka
January 19, 2023: Topeka, KS 66612 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lawrence Lions (Lawrence, KS) and the host Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS), saw Lawrence's basketball squad knock off Topeka by a tally of 61-52.
With the victory, Lawrence improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to West (Topeka, KS) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. West won 55-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Lansing (Lansing, KS)
Next up, the Trojans play the St. Mary's Academy Crusaders (St. Marys, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Topeka will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 55-43 non-league loss to Atchison (Atchison, KS).
